In Dark Galaxy you control planets and fleets in games lasting for 3 months at a time. This is one of my favorite games, probably because i play it for a verry long time, 5 years to be exact. There are probably a lot of great games out there but i like this one because of the strategy involved and the alliances formed. This is a strategy game as whell as an action game ... managing alot of ships and planets is quite a task. Diplomacy and strategy are definitory for this game thow it dosent seem like it at first glance. The game is turn based so that means time is measured in turns (1turn=1 hour).Ship and building construction can take from 8 turs, for the most simple, and go up to 24 turs for the more advanced structures and warships. All in all its a great game to play, and its not verry time consuming provided u can spend as little as 10 minutes loged in managing it.
